More color please
Laurie remembers the first barn quilt she bought at the Chatt Hills Country Fair in 2017. It was a pretty star in shades of black, grey, and white that she proudly hung on her front porch. Over the years, her husband Sam coaxed her into repainting the barn quilt in bolder colors, so she chose bright shades of blue, yellow, and orange, and painted her porch chairs to match.
All was well and good, until Laurie painted a few 4x4 sample barn quilts to show residents recently. Sam took a shining to her patriotic barn quilt and asked her to hang it on their front porch. She was going to name it Stars and Bars, but to tease her husband, she named it Sam's Choice. |

The first barn quilt Laurie purchase at the Chatt Hills Country Fair was made by two talented residents, Beverly & Terry Coggin. They have several barn quilts on their property, but like many residents in Chatt Hills, their property lays at the far end of a gated long driveway.
