An invitation for Community & Fellowship
Sardis Baptist Church has a long history of serving the rural community in Chattahoochee Hills. Established in 1875 as the "Baptist Church of Christ at Sardis," early records show 65 members on the role with services held one weekend each month on Saturday and Sunday.
As the surrounding community grew over time, so did the church. In 2008, a pavilion was added to the property and the church extended an invitation for the community to use it for fellowship activities. When selecting a barn quilt for the pavilion, Sardis Church members chose a Cross & Tulips pattern in their favorite colors of purple and green. |
