Two Good Neighbors and their Horse

Buddy & Janice Garner live off the beaten path, and like so many other residents in Chatt Hills, love it that way. They purchased property next door to Janice's brother in 2000, and soon after bought their horse Buttercup.
Buddy had heard about barn quilts 15 years ago and thought about painting one on their barn after seeing several in Amish Country. After attending our community barn quilt trail meeting, the couple decided to paint their own barn quilt based on the Montana pattern in the Pioneer Sampler book. Buddy drew the pattern on the sign board, and they painted the quilt together, although Buddy jokes that any mistakes you see are all his.
